microcom -s 115200 /dev/ttyS2 behaving odd.

I'm having issues connecting via ssh to node 1, so I connected to the BMC and connect via

I'm running microcom to connect to node 1 via console. This connects, but it seems very intermittent.

sometimes commands get echoed back, sometimes the commands get cut off, sometimes its completely unresponsive and I have to close my ssh connection.

this is what output looks like:

root@rk1-1:/etc# clear
root@rk1-1:~#
bash: c: command not found
root@rk1-1:/etc# clear
bash: cr: command not found
root@rk1-1:/etc#

It's basically unusable, as I need to fix a file but cannot load vi or even cat the file.

Any ideas on how to fix this?
